Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Other than saying it was his right hamstring, HC Mike Tomlin offered no other updates following the game. Worth noting, Mendenhall suggested that OC Bruce Arians considered putting a lead blocker in the backfield to escort him to daylight. Arians ignored that advice in the first half, and the Steelers rushed for 28 yards. In the third quarter, with the Steelers trailing 10-0, Arians altered the run game strategy. He used TEs Heath Miller and David Johnson as lead blockers during the first two possessions and that helped the Steelers erase a 10-point deficit. The Steelers rushed for 90 yards in the second half to finish with 118 — including 40 by Redman, who likely will start next week against Tennessee if Mendenhall can't go. ... Stay tuned.
