Vikings WR Percy Harvin returned the opening kickoff against the Chargers 103 yards for a touchdown. Adding injury to insult? Kaeding was carted off the field following the play.
According to the Chargers, Kaeding's left knee was being evaluated in the locker room. He was hit low on opening kickoff. Punter Mike Scifres kicked a subsequent PAT attempt for San Diego and will likely handle any field goal attempts until/unless Kaeding can return. ... Stay tuned.
