The Facts:
A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed that the Eagles have notified Owens of their intention to pursue repayment of part of the signing bonus he received when he signed with the team in March 2004.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The attempt to recoup money comes as the Eagles have begun paying Owens again. His 4-week unpaid suspension ended with the Green Bay game. The team does not intend to let T.O. practice or play, howeve. If the money were to be deducted from his pay, the Eagles might be able to, in effect, continue the unpaid suspension, since less than a third of Owens' salary of about $3.5 million this season remains to be paid.
