Cleveland and Kansas City were both said to be interested in McCoy for the same role. Instead, McCoy will remain in Denver, where he'll reunite with new HC John Fox. McCoy worked under Fox in Carolina, serving as his QBs coach for seven seasons. By keeping McCoy, the Broncos keep a degree of offensive continuity for a solid set of skill players.
