The team hasn't revealed the reason for Gates' delayed return, but assuming it might be related to the toe injury he's playing through isn't a reach. Gates had three receptions for 54 yards in first half and appeared to be moving quite well at times. Whatever the case, he has returned to action and appears no worse for the wear.
