According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Saints have released PK John Carney and waived RB DeShawn Wynn. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

The moves come shortly after the Saints announced the signing of former Seahawk Julius Jones and S Matt Giordano. ... The Saints thought they had their kicking problems solved when they signed Carney after Garrett Hartley missed two field-goal tries in the season opener and a 29-yarder that would have given them a win in overtime in Week 3. But it got them again Sunday in a 30-20 loss to the Cardinals. Carney connected on field goals of 31 and 32 yards, but he missed a 29-yard try late in the third quarter that would have given his team a 16-13 lead. ... So Hartley moves back into the job by default -- assuming the team doesn't make another move.
