According to the Red Zone Channel's Scott Hansen, Foster is not playing in today's game against the Raiders due to a "coach's decision."

It's not clear why Foster is being held out or if he'll be allowed to enter the game at some point later. So far, Derrick Ward, who started, and Steve Slaton are handling the team's rushing needs. In fact, ESPN's Adam Schefter asked the Texans if Foster would play today. They said, "We have eight carries for 84 yards, why change?" ... Stay tuned. We'll undoubtedly be hearing more on this one as the day (and week) progresses.
