The Facts:
ESPN's Ed Werder tracked down Favre at the local high school where the veteran signal caller works out and Favre told Werder directly that he has not made a decision as to whether he will return to the Vikings this season. Favre also denied he informed the team he plans to retire and that he plans to return if his surgically-repaired ankle allows.

Favre is worried about the progress of his recovery. And as SI.com's Peter King reported last night, Favre is trying to schedule a visit with Dr. James Andrews to have the ankle checked. ... As for reports the Vikings are willing to give him a substantial raise to return -- a minimum of $3 million (and possibly more), Favre told Werder this isn't about the money. Favre's agent, Bus Cook, subsequently released a statement confirming all of the above. So. ... FavreWatch 2010 will continue -- perhaps with a bit less intensity for the time being. But it will continue.
