The Eagles have agreed to terms on an extension with Weaver. "Eagles agree to 3 year, $10-plus mil deal with Weaver, highest ever for a FB. More than half deal is guaranteed," tweeted NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.

Scout.com's Adam Caplan followed up with more information, tweeting "Eagles and Leonard Weaver reached 3-year, $11 million deal, $6.5 million guaranteed source said. Beats [Jacksonville's] Greg Jones' deal 2 years ago. ..." Weaver, a restricted free agent, was tendered at the second-round level last night.
