As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, reports that Smith is expected to miss the rest of the season seem to overlook the reality that only three games are left in the season. Indeed, it would appear the bigger question is whether and to what extent Smith will be available for the offseason program as the Lions try to get ready for 2010. ... Stay tuned.
