Chambers must clear waivers. Each team will have chance to claim him by 4 p.m. Tuesday. ... While the release is a bit of a surprise, it's certainly not earth-shattering. Malcom Floyd has been cutting into Chambers' time significantly in recent weeks before replacing him as the starter against the Raiders. Legedu Naanee will also move up in the rotation with Chambers gone.
