Pennington might be done for the season, but at least his latest health report shows a promising future. Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Pennington could resume light throwing within 8-to-12 weeks, a source tells Mortensen. Indeed, the Associated Press, citing its own sources, also reports that Pennington should be able to play next season if he so chooses. The AP further noted the rotator cuff was not damaged. Two operations on Pennington’s right shoulder in 2005 involved the rotator cuff. ... Already a two-time winner of the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, most recently in 2008, Pennington certainly understands what it takes to get back. Last week he said he’ll wait until he starts rehabilitation to decide whether to continue his career.
