According to ESPN.com insider Chris Mortensen, Vick has signed a two-year contract with the Eagles.

Mortensen comfirmed his report with agent Joel Segal. The move comes as complete surprise. Clearly, Vick isn't being brought on board to compete with Donovan McNabb -- at least not immediately. It will be interesting to see what McNabb might have known in advance -- and how he handles Vick's presence. Stay tuned. More to come.
