In case you haven't been paying attention, there has been speculation that although Favre retired for a second consecutive offseason in February, he might return to play for the Vikings. That speculation heated up earlier this week when the Jets granted Favre his unconditional release, essentially making the veteran QB an unrestricted free agent. Although he has a relationship with Favre -- and Vikings OC Darrell Bevell was Favre's QBs coach in Green Bay (the two remain close friends), Childress wouldn't remember the last time he spoke with Favre. ... Sure. Stay tuned.
