Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Burress was hurt on the third play of Sunday’s 37-29 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. “It is the one thing that I was hoping against hope that was not going to happen,” Coughlin said of the abrupt exit by Burress in Sunday’s game. ... For what it's worth, Coughlin said he did not think Burress made the injury worse by trying to play. The coach also hopes Brandon Jacobs, who was held out against the Cardinals to rest a sore knee, is ready this week.
