The Facts:
FOXSports' Jay Glazer broke the story during the network's pregame show Sunday morning. According to Glazer's sources, Favre spent 60 to 90 minutes on the phone with the Lions' coaches prior to their Week 2 game and "gave them a rundown of the nuances of what Green Bay does on offense." Two league sources said Sunday they had been told of Favre contacting the Lions last month, before Glazer's report. One said the report was "absolutely" true.
