Grigsby, signed this offseason from Kansas City, confirmed early Tuesday morning that the Dolphins waived him Monday. Grigsby said the coaching staff told him it plans to utilize the tight ends more instead of the fullbacks.

Scout.com reports that the Dolphins signed FB Casey Cramer to fill Grigsby’s roster spot. Cramer, a 6-2, 250 pound fullback, has played in 27 games over four seasons with Carolina and Tennessee, mostly as a special teams player.
