Christine Michael- RB- Seahawks
The former Texas A&M running back has been on the fantasy radar all year, but he just hasn’t had the opportunities that many fantasy owners were expecting so far in 2014. Many fantasy writers expected Michael to start sharing the load with Marshawn Lynch, considering that Lynch is in the final year of his contract with Seattle. Lynch has still been the main running back, but his relationship with Seattle seems to be getting worse as the season goes on. Michael could be the number one option heading into the 2015 season. If you are in a keeper league, make sure you check to see if Michael is available. Many owners dropped Michael early in the season after he wasn’t producing on the field. Pick him up for a buck this week.

Colt McCoy- Quarterback- Redskins
The Washington coaches have no trust in RG3 anymore, so Colt McCoy will get the start this week against the Colts. Unless your quarterback is hurt, McCoy isn’t the best option to start over quarterbacks on current rosters, but he might be a nice backup in case something dire happens to your starter. McCoy made two appearances already this season, which accounts for two of the three wins that Washington has in 2014. The Colts’ defense is inconsistent this season, so I wouldn’t be surprised if McCoy put up good fantasy numbers in Week 13. Pick up McCoy as a backup for the rest of the year.

Michael Bush- RB- Cardinals
The former Chicago Bear Michael Bush just signed with the Cardinals to give them some help in the running game. Bush wasn’t all that great last year with the Bears, but he will bring physicality to the run game that the Cardinals have been lacking throughout the season. Bush could also be the vulture that steals touchdown opportunities away from starter Andre Ellington when the Cardinals are in the red zone. Pick up Bush if you are in desperate need for a running back.

Juwan Thompson- RB- Broncos
While it seems like the Broncos are getting good production from the running back position in 2014, it hasn’t been one half back dominating the work load. First it was Monte Ball, then Ronnie Hillman stepped in, and now C.J. Anderson looks to be the starter in week 13. Juwan Thompson comes into Sunday as Anderson’s main backup running back, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Thompson ended up seeing 10 plus carries against the Chiefs on Sunday night football. Thompson rushed five times for 33 yards last week when he saw playing time. It seems like Broncos running backs are cursed with injuries this season, and Thompson could be the beneficiary if Anderson goes out. Pick up Thompson for a dollar today.

Nick Toon- WR- Saints
The three-year veteran out of Wisconsin, Nick Toon, finally saw some playing time last Monday night against the Ravens. He managed to haul in three catches for 42 yards. Depending on the depth of your roster, Toon isn’t someone to target unless you are desperate for a wide receiver. But he Saints are missing rookie Brandin Cooks for the rest of the year, and Robert Meachem has also been hurt with an ankle injury. Toon could contend for a role in the remaining games of the season. He will most definitely be available in your fantasy football league for a dollar.
