Free Agency Roundup: Fournette Back With The Bucs & More
The moves are slowing down, but we got a fantasy-friendly bump to get the ball rolling this morning.

In Tampa Bay. ... Running back Leonard Fournette, who spent Monday visiting with the New England Patriots, is re-signing with the Buccaneers on a three-year, $21 million deal, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

The deal includes $11 million guaranteed and could reach $24 million with incentives, sources told Schefter.

Fournette ranked sixth among all NFL running backs with 1,266 yards from scrimmage, averaging a career-best 4.5 yards per carry, when the Bucs placed him on injured reserve with a hamstring injury after Week 15. He missed the wild-card game and returned for the Bucs' divisional-round loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

After signing his second one-year deal with the Bucs last offseason, Fournette, 27, rushed for 812 yards and scored 10 total touchdowns. He also caught 69 passes for 454 yards.

His best game came in Week 12, when Fournette, in addition to delivering a memorable halftime speech when the Bucs fell behind, rushed for 100 yards on 17 carries and had seven receptions for 31 yards. The last of his four touchdowns in that 38-31 victory was a 28-yard run with 29 seconds remaining.

Fournette earned the nickname "Playoff Lenny" -- and later, "Lombardi Lenny" -- while leading the Bucs with 448 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in their postseason run, which culminated in his 135-yard performance as Tampa Bay beat the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LV.

After backing up Ronald Jones for the majority of the 2020 season -- an experience that he and the coaching staff believe humbled him and helped prolong his career -- Fournette seized the opportunity when Jones suffered a broken finger, went on the reserve/COVID-19 list and suffered a quad injury in Weeks 15 and 16.

He has 3,810 rushing yards with 31 rushing touchdowns and 239 receptions for 1,696 yards and four TD catches in 63 career regular-season games.

With Tom Brady back at the helm of this offense, Fournette's return is an ideal outcome for fantasy managers.

In Minnesota. ... The Vikings signed quarterback Kirk Cousins to a contract extension this month and they’re re-signing his backup as well.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Sean Mannion is remaining with the team on a one-year deal. It will be his fourth season with the Vikings

Mannion started the only game he appeared in last season and went 22-of-36 for 189 yards and a touchdown in a Week 16 loss to the Packers. He didn’t play at all in 2020 and made one start for the team during the 2019 season.

The Vikings also have 2021 third-round pick Kellen Mond and 2020 seventh-round pick Nate Stanley on the quarterback depth chart.

In Kansas City. ... Corey Coleman is getting another chance in the NFL.

Coleman, a wide receiver who went to the Browns in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft, is signing with the Chiefs, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The 27-year-old Coleman was a major disappointment in two seasons with the Browns. Prior to his third season he was traded to the Bills for a seventh-round pick, and then he ended up not even making the Bills’ roster. Since then he’s had brief stints with the Patriots and Giants.

As Profootballtalk.com's Michael David Smith notes, in Kansas City Coleman joins a crowded receiver room and will try to compete for a roster spot in a group where Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman and JuJu Smith-Schuster are slated to be the starters.

In Las Vegas. ... Davante Adams won’t be the only new wide receiver with the Raiders in 2022.

Agent Michael Katz announced that his client Robinson will be signing with the team. Demarcus Robinson visited with the team on Tuesday before coming to an agreement.

Robinson has spent his entire six-year career with the Chiefs, so he’s a familiar face to the Raiders thanks to the two annual games between the longtime AFC West foes. He has never missed a game against any team over that run and has 145 career catches for 1,679 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Raiders have also come to agreements with defensive tackle Vernon Butler, linebacker Kyler Fackrell, tight end Jacob Hollister, and linebacker Micah Kizer in recent days as general manager Dave Ziegler continues to put his stamp on the roster in his first days in his new job.

In New York. ... Quarterback Mike White authored one of the most unexpected performances of the 2021 season when he made his first start for the Jets and it’s now official that he’ll be back with the team in 2022.

White was tendered as a restricted free agent earlier this month and the Jets announced on Tuesday that he has signed that tender. White had been tendered at the original round level, so any team trying to sign him away would have had to send the Jets a fifth-round pick for successfully doing so.

White went 37-of-45 for 405 yards while making his first NFL start in a 34-31 win over the Bengals in Week Eight. Zach Wilson remained out with a knee injury the next week and White got off to a good start before having to leave with a forearm injury. He was 88-of-132 for 953 yards, five touchdowns, and eight interceptions over four overall appearances.

Joe Flacco has also re-signed with the Jets, so White will either need to beat him out for the No. 2 or need the Jets to keep three quarterbacks in order to make it to the regular season with the team.
