Brad Johnson Limited Wednesday...
According to the Associated Press, Brad Johnson was limited in practice Wednesday because of a strained left groin but he is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

"He still has a little soreness in his groin, but we expect him to play and practice [Thursday]," head coach Jon Gruden said.

Johnson completed 34 of a career-high 61 passes for 339 yards in last Sunday's 12-9 overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers.

"I feel good right now," Johnson said. "I look forward to starting on Sunday and moving on."

According to Tampa Tribune staffer Roy Cummings, we probably haven't seen the last of Warren Sapp catching passes as a tight end.

The team is regularly practicing plays in which Sapp is an option on passing downs and until the team locates a suitable replacement for the injured Rickey Dudley, they'll continue to throw to Sapp if all other options are cut off.

Sapp's top priority on the offensive side of the ball is as a blocker in short-yardage situations, but as Cummings noted: "He has soft hands and good agility and is very hard to bring down. Plus, he gives defenses one more thing to worry about."

Jim Miller, who was released Tuesday, will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a partially torn Achilles' tendon. Miller learned of the injury last week, but it's uncertain when he suffered the tear.
