Diehards Line:According to the AP, family violence is an attack or "a threat" of imminent harm against a member of a family or household. It's a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine. ... West said he was gathering details of the allegations and declined to elaborate or comment. Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple also declined to comment while the team gathered information. Meanwhile, as Profootballtalk.com's Michael David Smith suggested, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who has been one of Bryant’s strongest supporters, will surely be extremely disappointed by this development.
