Yahoo Sports DFS

Yahoo Sports provides weekly DFS and an overall Yahoo Cup for the NFL season. As of now we don’t have many non-injury situations to watch out for; players being rested etc. The Sunday slate his huge, so let’s see if we can sort through it and find some winners.

Quarterbacks

Deshaun Watson – Houston – $33

IND at HOU -4.5, o/u 49.5
A first round bye is still in play for the 9-3 Texans who could also put a dent into the Colts playoff hopes. The first time these teams meet Watson through for 375 yards with two touchdowns. I expect the Colts to bounce back after their egg against Jacksonville, thus giving the QB’s a good game environment.

Lamar Jackson – Baltimore – $29

BAL at KC -6.5, 51
The Ravens are not shying away from highlighting Jackson strengths as a runner which provides him a safe floor. Kansas City gave up 171 yards rushing last week to Oakland. This matchup also provides Jackson a great chance to eclipse 200 yards passing for the first time in his young career.

Running Backs

Phillip Lindsay – Denver – $30

DEN -4 at SF, 45.5
The focal point of the Broncos offense is coming off a 19-167-2 day at Cincinnati. He’ll continue to see all the work he can handle as Denver deals with the loss of Emmanuel Sanders.

Nick Chubb – Cleveland – $27

CAR -2 at CLE, 47
Chubb has been a touchdown machine, scoring six total touchdowns in the last four weeks. He’s also added three receptions per-game the last three weeks providing the total package and becoming a strong weekly play.

Aaron Jones – Green Bay – $27

ATL at GB -5, 50.5
Last week’s loss to Arizona got coaches fired. Jones has been finding the end zone the last few weeks which has helped pick up his value. You have to assume he’ll be a focal point this week against a Falcons rush defense which is 27th in total yards, 130.7 per-game.

Lamar Miller – Houston – $22

IND at HOU
Miller has rounded into form over the last six weeks which includes 162 and a 103 rushing yards the last two weeks. While he doesn’t do a lot in the passing game, he’s ninth in the NFL in rushing attempts which makes him a fine pairing with Watson.

Justin Jackson – L.A. Chargers – $16

CIN at LAC -14, 47.5
Playing from behind limited the Chargers running backs last week as Austin Ekeler ($25) could not get going against the Steelers. Jackson ended up with 63 yards on eight carries to Ekeler’s 21 on 13. Both running backs are solid plays this weekend against a reeling Bengals team that the Chargers should handle on Sunday.

Wide Receivers

Odell Beckham Jr. – N.Y. Giants – $29

NYG -3.5 at WAS, 41
Beckham only managed three catches on nine targets against Chicago, but saved the day with a 49-yard TD pass. This week he shouldn’t need a pass to save the day as he’s already posted an 8-136 line on Washington this year. The Josh Norman factor adds enough emotion for the feisty OBJ.

Brandin Cooks – L.A. Rams – $24

LAR at CHI, TBA
Cooks could be the focal point of the Rams passing game this weekend against the Bears. Chicago is holding opponents to 85.8 rushing yards per-game. I trust Sean McVey and the Rams offense to create looks with quick passes to get players in space.

Allen Robinson – Chicago – $19

LAR at CHI
Mitchell Trubisky’s status for Sunday night is still up in the air. Robinson caught five-of-nine targets last week and is a WR3 regardless, but gets a bump if Trubisky is cleared to play.

Antonio Callaway – Cleveland – $17

CAR at CLE
Callaway fumbled what would have been a 71-yard TD reception last Sunday. He has flashed big paly potential all year and Baker Mayfield is putting him in position to cash in. If you’re taking a shot on a Browns WR, it’s Callaway for the one game changing play.

Devin Funchess – Carolina – $16

CAR at CLE
Greg Olsen is done for the year which brings Funchess back into the fold. He averaged 7.8 targets per-game through the first six weeks of the season. The Panthers have developed some depth with Curtis Samuels and D.J. Moore. Funchess could see an uptick in red zone looks along with total targets.

Golden Tate – Philadelphia – $15

PHI at DAL -3.5, 44
Tate caught all seven of his targets for 85-yards and a touchdown last week. He’s already put together a monster day, 8-132-2, against the Cowboys when the Lions visited Dallas in September.

Tight Ends

Eric Ebron – Indianapolis – $24

IND at HOU
The Colts did not score last week against Jacksonville, but Ebron didn’t disappoint catching 10 passes for 81-yards. Even if Mo Alie-Cox plays, Ebron is proven and trusted.

Jimmy Graham – Green Bay – $14

ATL at GB
It’s a to-be-determined weekend for Green Bay as Joe Philbin takes over as interim head coach. Aaron Rodgers has been one of the biggest voices for Graham who caught eight-of-11 targets last week.
