Player Pos Team Opponent Start / Sit Comment
Jimmy Garoppollo QB SF KC START Kansas City has yielded some big days to opposing passers as their opponents try to catch up on games.
Theo Riddick RB DET NE START Expect this to be a game where Detroit is passing a lot; Riddick should be in store for 6+ targets in this game.
Latavius Murray RB MIN BUF START It looks like Cook is on the doubtful side of questionable especially with a Thursday game following this weeks' matchup.  Buffalo has yet to be in contention in a game so even if Cook plays, Murray whould get plenty of action.
Giovanni Bernard RB CIN CAR START With Joe Mixon OUT, Gio should be an automatic start in your lineups
Tevin Coleman RB ATL NO START With Deovnta Freeman OUT, Coleman traditional has been a solid RB2 and should be in your lineup in week 3.
Corey Clement RB PHI IND START With Ajayi and Sproles OUT for Sunday, Clement will get the start and should have a solid fantasy week in week 3.
Peyton Barber RB TB PIT SIT Barber has been the one spot in Tampa's lineup that hasn't shared the success of Fitzmagic.  Tampa's not throwing to their RBs and through two games PIT's opponents have not utilzed the running backs in the passing game so look for this trend to continue.
Will Fuller WR HOU NYG START Eli Applie sounds like he's going to be OUT on Sunday.  That should leave easy pickings for Fuller
Eric Ebron TE IND IND PHI With Doyle out, Ebron should pick up the dominant snap share at TE and look for his targets to increase.

In this Start Em / Sit Em column each week, I'm looking to find some fringe players that you might consider starting each week and comment based on their matchups. Early on, I'll base my selection of candidates on where they were with respect to ADP.  I'm not going to try to pad my stats by suggesting your start Drew Brees each week, but instead trying to dig deep and find some nuggets for players to avoid or to go after.  These are coin flip guys and if I can finish the year at better than 60% I'll consider it a success.  My metrics to get the start decision are:  QB 20 pts or more,  RB, WR or TE need to score 12 pts or more for a successful endorsement.  Defense/Special Teams should put in 8 points or more to get those picks right.  I'll look at ~3-6 players on each Thursday night's game and ~ 6 players for the rest of the week to get you going.  This year I'm going to be looking at different ways to integrate daily fantasy pricing and Vegas odds into my decision making process.  Good Luck this year!
