Player Pos Team Opponent Start/Sit Comment
Alshon Jeffery WR PHI WAS SIT Jeffery is arguably the Eagles number 1 WR. He gets Washington who is giving up ~ 36 yards per game to the opposing team's number 1. This is a week I'd avoid Jeffery
Kyle Rudolph TE MIN BAL START Using the TE is a way teams have been successful attacking Baltimore's defense. Rudolph, especially with Diggs down, is a clear option for the Vikings
Tyrod Taylor QB BUF TB START Taylor is playing Tampa this week who has only held Glennon and Brady to sub 20 point weeks. Bradord, Eli and Palmer all have had good weeks against Tampa. Look for Taylor to optimize his chances for starter numbers this week.
James White RB NE ATL START New England is is number 32 vs opposing pass catching RBs. This sets up nicely for White. Dion Lewis could mess things up since you never know what Bellicheck is thinking. But, the matchup bodes well if White gets his usual playing time.
Jonnu Smith TE TEN CLE START This is a conditional recommendation. Delanie Walker hurt himself Thursday and is now questionable for Sunday. If Walker (early game on Sunday) is OUT, Jonnu Smith could surprise.
Cole Beasely WR DAL SF START Beasely showed signs of life last week. SF is ranked 29th against the non number 1 or 2 WR. Beasely could be used this week by Dallas.
Jack Doyle TE IND JAC START Jacksonville is one tough defense. Their brutal in the passing game in almost all matchups. Vs the TE is the only potential weakness their pass defense has. Look for Doyle to be a safety valve for their young quarterback.
Buck Allen RB BAL MIN SIT Baltimore is tough against oppoing RBs including 5th ranked vs the pass catching RB. Allen's opportunity might be high with West likely out again. But, this matchup doesn't favor him.
