Quarterback

Derek Carr, LV

Carr has quietly been having a great year. He's thrown multiple touchdowns in every game since Week 1 and has topped 20 DraftKings points in four of six games. He's completing 72% of his passes while still averaging 8.2 yards per attempt. Carr is only $5,500 on DraftKings this week. He faces a Browns defense that just got shredded by Joe Burow.

Jimmy Garoppolo, SF

Garoppolo is perfectly average. He's posting 202.4 yards per game at 8.2 yards per attempt but only has seven scores to four interceptions. He's been held scoreless in two games. However, he faces the Seattle defense this week. No team is allowing more yards through the air than Seattle this year. Their mark of 368.7 passing yards allowed is 35 yards more than the No. 31 team. The total on the SF/SEA game sits at 53 and Garoppolo is only $6,600 on DraftKings.

Running Back

Kareem Hunt, CLE

Hunt is a home-favorite running back on a team with an implied team total of 28 points. Vegas has his team scoring the fourth-most points of the main slate and the Browns run on 50.7% of their plays, the second-highest rate in the league. Since Nick Chubb went down, Hunt is averaging 17 carries and 3.7 targets per game. He's a workhorse back in a game environment that should produce points.

Alvin Kamara, NO

Kamara is on pace for 123 receptions, 1227 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns. His receptions and yardage totals would be NFL records for a running back. The yardage mark would be by a whopping 179 yards. He should be priced in line with what McCaffrey was last year but is still in the Derrick Henry tier on DraftKings.

Wide Receiver

Keenan Allen, LAC

Allen has started and finished four games with Justin Herbert as his quarterback. He's averaging 9.5 receptions for 103.4 yards in those games. That has been on 13.3 targets per game. The NFL record for target per game in a 16 game season (since targets began being tracked in 1992) is 13. Allen has gotten more volume with Herbert under center than any other receiver in the history of the NFL.

A.J. Green, CIN

Green was getting the volume of a WR1 early in the season but failed to produce anything on that workload. He was second in air yards through three weeks but 56th in receiving yards for a receiver. In the past two weeks, Green is first in air yards and eighth in receiving yards. The Bengals are throwing 42 pass attempts per game and are underdogs to a bad Titans defense this week. Fire Green up at $4,500.

Tight End

Darren Waller, LV

Waller leads all tight ends in targets (56) and target share (27.6%). He's been a top-five tight end in four of six weeks this year and has scored double-digit fantasy points in all but one game. Despite being the No. 1 tight end in terms of volume, he's only the fourth-highest priced tight end on DraftKings.

Harrison Bryant, CLE

Bryant is only in play if Austin Hooper (appendicitis) misses Week 8 but he'll be a starting tight end for $3,200 if Hooper is ruled out. With Hooper sidelined last week, Bryant caught four of five targets for 56 yards and two scores. He was on the field for 77% of Cleveland's snaps.

Defense

Buffalo Bills

The Bills face the Patriots this week and in a dramatic plot twist, the Patriots offense (and not the Buffalo defense) is what makes them so appealing as a DFS play. At 19.2 points per game, the Patriots are scoring the fourth-fewest points every week this year. Cam Newton's arm is failing him and the weapons he's throwing to are doing him no favors either. Buffalo should tee off on Newton this week.
