DFS Cash Game Breakdown 2020 Championship weekend

Quarterback

Josh Allen, BUF

Allen is simply too cheap on DraftKings. Getting up to the studs at receiver and tight end is going to be a priority on this slate and Allen is the easiest way to do so. DraftKings has him at just $6,900 despite him scoring just as many fantasy points per game as Patrick Mahomes this year. Aaron Rodgers is only $6,500 and his scoring isn't far off from those two but Allen's rushing drastically increases his floor. He has 14 carries for 62 yards and a score across two playoff games after removing kneels.

Running Back

Aaron Jones, GB

Jones looks like a lock in cash games because of the state of running back in the Championship Round. No other team has a running back who projects to get as much work as Jones. Green Bay's lead-back is posting 14.3 carries and 4.3 targets per game while running at a 5.6 yards per carry clip. His team is favored this week and has a 27.25 implied team total.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Devin Singletary get honorable mentions at running back. The Bills don't seem to care about running the football but Singletary did see seven of nine running back carries last week and all two of Allen's throws to members of his backfield. If healthy, CEH is the primary back on a team favored by a field goal at home with the highest team total of the slate.

Wide Receiver

John Brown, BUF

Brown appears to be healthy and an integral part of the Buffalo passing game entering the AFC Championship. He has a 20.8% target share in his two playoff games and saw 11 targets last week. That was as many as Stefon Diggs and nine more than Cole Beasley. His targets are also backed by more air yards. Brown's aDOT of 11.8 led the Buffalo trio in the regular season.

Davante Adams, GB

Cutting the number of players in this and the GPP article makes it easier to not repeat players but leaving Adams out of either felt criminal. Even as one of the highest-owned players on the slate, his ownership may come in too low for his true odds of hitting. Removing the game Adam missed half of with an injury, he has been automatic in wins. He has averaged 9.2 catches for 107.6 yards and 1.4 scores when Green Bay earns a victory. He has failed to score just once in 11 Green Bay wins he has been healthy for.

Tight End

Travis Kelce, KC

Playing Kelce and Adams in the same lineup should be the goal in cash this week and it's not a hard goal to reach after moving down to Allen or Rodgers. He set the record for yards receiving by a tight end in a season and also finished top-five in receptions. In his first playoff game of the year, Kelce saw 11 targets and dropped an 8-109-1 stat line.
