The Facts: Following up on the ongoing story. ... The Buccaneers are not activating Fournette before today’s deadline and he will not play tomorrow against the Eagles.
Diehards Line:
Although Fournette was able to practice this week, HC Bruce Arians told reporters on Friday that the running back, coming off a hamstring injury, was "the most questionable" of game-time decisions for this weekend. In the end, however, Fournette didn't make it to game day this week. He'll get a chance to try again next week if the Bucs get past the Eagles. In the meantime, with Ronald Jones (ankle) previously ruled out, Ke'Shawn Vaugh, Le'Veon Bell and Giovani Bernard, just activated from IR earlier today, will be the team's top backs.
