The Facts: Landry changed his mind and decided to undergo hip surgery after all. Dr. Chris Larson performed the procedure in Minnesota.
Diehards Line:
Landry is expected back at some point in training camp, which begins in late July. He said after the season a surgery would require a six-to-eight month recovery. Landry first revealed to the Plain Dealer at the Super Bowl that he wasn’t sure if not having the surgery was the right decision. He played in his fifth straight Pro Bowl and attended Super Bowl festivities before undergoing the procedure. He dealt with the injury most of the second half of the season. Now, they’ll go through the first offseason of a new offensive system without last year’s leading receiver.
