McDaniels is the last of eight candidates to interview. According to Plain Dealer staffer Mary Kay Cabot, Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski, the seventh candidate to interview with the Browns when they traveled Thursday to Minnesota, greatly impressed the search committee when he interviewed twice for last year’s vacancy -- including former GM John Dorsey, who led the search. But by that time, Dorsey had pretty much made up his mind on Freddie Kitchens. The Browns have interviewed former Packers coach Mike McCarthy, who was named Cowboys coach on Tuesday, Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, Bills OC Brian Daboll and Eagles DC Jim Schwartz. ...
