The Facts: The bulk of Jaylen Samuels’ production last season came in one game, but more responsibility may be coming his way in his second year with the Steelers. During Day 2 of OTAs, the Steelers practiced a different offensive look, with Conner and Samuels lined up together in the backfield, that could get him more involved.
Diehards Line:
Conner’s looking forward to potentially lining up with Samuels and seeing what can come from it. “Oh, man, Jaylen?” Conner said. “He’s super talented. It’s something we’ve had in for a little while, but I think we’re going to use it a little more this year, and I’m excited about it because we’re both really talented. ...” That's probably not what fantasy managers, who have been drafting Connor as a solid RB1 want to hear. It's certainly not exciting -- although we should all wait to see how things play out before we get too excited. So for now, we'll continue to watch for more.
