The Facts: The Detroit Lions draft tight end T.J. Hockenson with the eighth overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
Diehards Line:Hockenson to the Lions makes a ton of sense, as this was a major need for them. At 6'5, the athletic young man adds an incredible dimension to this offense and adds a major weapon for QB Matthew Stafford. He can block and has great hands, making him an all-around tight end. He has been compared to Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkowski, two of the best tight ends to play the game. Hockenson is going to be a first-round pick in rookie only drafts and will be a late round/high-upside option in season-long formats.
