Hill has not made a public comment since Overland Park police, the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office and the Kansas Department for Children and Families confirmed they are investigating alleged incidents of battery and child abuse or neglect involving Hill at his home. A spokesperson for the Johnson County DA’s office told the Star on Monday afternoon that the investigation involving Hill is still ongoing. Asked if the team is altering its offseason plans based on Hill’s situation, Reid said, “No, we’re full steam ahead.” With investigations ongoing and no charges filed to date, the Chiefs are taking a wait-and-see approach. “I’m not there to judge on that,” Reid said. “That’s what’s taking place now.
