The Facts: The Cardinals are hiring Tom Clements as passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach, a source tells NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Diehards Line:Clements is a long-time NFL assistant. He coached quarterbacks for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000 and Pittsburgh Steelers from 2001-2003. He was the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills 2004-2005. For the next decade, he was with the Packers, first as a QB coach from 2006-2011, then as offensive coordinator 2012-2014 and then assistant head coach 2015-2016. He coached Brett Favre. He developed Aaron Rodgers. Maybe he will fit in nicely to develop Josh Rosen for the Cardinals. His next project is Rosen. For what it's worth, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport added there is not expected to be an OC for the Cardinals. Obviously it’s Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
