The Facts: Duke Johnson signed a 3-year extension worth up to $15.6 million with the Browns.
Diehards Line:As expected, the Browns have extended Johnson to a 3-year deal. He was a big part of the Browns passing attack last season, finishing the year with 90 targets and 74 receptions out of the backfield. The Browns added Carlos Hyde this offseason and took Nick Chubb in this year's draft, while also trading for Jarvis Landry, so the volume that Johnson saw last season may not be as high. That said, the fact that they are extended him, is a good sign that they plan on keeping his role as key part of this offense.
