The Facts: Cook, who suffered a season-ending torn left ACL in October in Week 4, expects to be at full strength for the Sept. 9 regular-season opener against San Francisco. “I’m going to have myself ready to go by Week 1,” Cook said. “That’s the goal.”
Diehards Line:
Cook on Wednesday did some individual drills but sat out team drills. “I’m right where I need to be,’’ Cook said of his rehab. “I ain’t trying to get myself too much of a workload because the season is not right now. I’m just following my protocol and whatever they tell me to do, I’m just going to take it day by day.’’ The Vikings are taking no chances in OTAs with injured players, so don't expect to see much of Cook before training camp. We'll get a better idea of where he's truy at in his return then.
