The Facts: Enunwa has a chance to be the Jets' top wide receiver this season, if he can rebound from a neck injury that required surgery and sidelined him for all of 2017. So how close is Enunwa to 100 percent? And how does his neck feel? "It feels good," he said Tuesday. "It's as 100 [percent] as I'm supposed to be. I'm probably ahead of schedule, but I'm doing everything with the guys, running routes, catching the ball. There's really no setbacks right now."
Diehards Line:The Jets are currently in the second phase of their offseason workout program. They practice for the first time this spring on May 22 -- the start of organized team activities. Enunwa was asked if he'll be ready to participate fully on May 22. He wouldn't say definitively. "I think I'll be able to go," he said. "I think we'll be smart about it. I think I'm going to go out there and do what I need to do." This season is a contract year for Enunwa, as he plays on a one-year restricted free agent deal. He is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent next offseason. He would love to exceed his breakout 2016 production (58 catches for 857 yards and four touchdowns). And he can't wait to get back on the field after missing the 2017 season.
