The Facts: Mack played his rookie season with a torn labrum, GM Chris Ballard told SiriusXM NFL Radio. Mack underwent offseason shoulder surgery to repair the tear.
Diehards Line:Ballard said he expects Mack to return fully healthy by training camp. With Frank Gore‘s departure, Mack should get more work this season -- although the Colts did make additions at the position during last week's NFL Draft (selecting Nyheim Hines in Round 4 and Jordan Wilkins in Round 5). A fourth-round pick in 2017, Mack ran 93 times for 358 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie. We'll be following his progress closely in coming weeks.a
