The Facts: Greg Olsen is reportedly signing a two-year $8.55 million per year contract extension, with a max value of up to $10.05 million per year.
Diehards Line:Olsen who battled injuries for most of last season, playing only seven games, is coming off of his worst NFL season. He caught 17 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown in 2017 and most of that production came in Week 15 where he caught nine passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. Prior to last season, Olsen topped 1,000 receiving yards from 2014-2016. When healthy, he is Cam Newton's go-to pass catcher and that will likely be the case once again this season, so long as Olsen can stay healthy.
