The Facts: The Dolphins are signing Gore to a one-year deal.
Diehards Line:
Kenyan Drake (644 yards, 4.8 yards per carry) did what he could to replace Jay Ajayi after a midseason trade. But Drake needs help, and Damien Williams moved on as an unrestricted free agent (he signed with Kansas City earlier today). Head coach Adam Gase said he wants to employ a two-back system so Gore will get opportunities in both phases of the offense. Running the ball is a key skill, but Gase wants well-rounded backs who aren't liabilities in the passing game as a receiver or blocker.
