The Facts: The Colt may have added some extra picks in the 2018 NFL Draft this past weekend but they are still on the prowl to bring in some free agent bodies, including Williams.
Diehards Line:
The Colts, who have a need at the running back position, reportedly hosted Williams on Tuesday, per Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel. Williams visited the Chiefs on Monday. ... After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Williams signed with the Dolphins where he would wind up playing 58 games over four seasons as a complementary piece in the backfield. Williams had never started a game in his career until he did so four times during the 2017 season. He recorded 46 carries for 181 rushing yards in 2017, both of which were career-highs. He has also recorded nine receiving touchdowns in his four years with the Dolphins. While the Colts have 2017 fourth-round pick Marlon Mack and veteran Robert Turbin on the roster, neither of them are ready to shoulder the load as a full-time starter so the team will be looking everywhere for talent.
