The Facts: The Titans continued to search for a veteran backup quarterback for Marcus Mariota, meeting with Gabbert on Monday, an NFL source told The Tennessean.
Diehards Line:Gabbert, 28, started five games for the Cardinals last season, winning two, including a matchup against the Titans. He completed 55.6 percent of his passes for 1,086 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions in those games. He also lost seven fumbles. Gabbert, a first-round draft pick by the Jaguars in 2011, has played for eight head coaches in seven NFL seasons. He spent three seasons with the Jaguars and three more with the 49ers before joining Arizona last season.
