The Facts: After tearing his ACL in August, Edelman again figures to be Brady's main man in 2018. He is expected to be ready by training camp.
Diehards Line:
With Edelman set to return from a torn ACL, the starting lineup of receivers is impressive heading toward 2018. Brandin Cooks topped 1,000 yards in his first season in Foxboro, where he'll play under the fifth-year option next fall. It will be interesting to see if the team is willing to hand out a big-money extension after trading a first-round pick for him. Danny Amendola has taken three straight pay cuts to remain, but even after a productive postseason his future is murky heading into free agency. There are plenty of depth options, including Kenny Britt and Phillip Dorsett who'll head into 2018 with a year in the system upon which to build. But Edelman will return as the mainstay.
