The Facts: Brady was again present for the start of practice today as the team wrapped up its preparations for the Jaguars.
Diehards Line:
Brady wore red Under Armour gloves on both hands for the second day in a row. Unlike yesterday, when Brady didn’t participate in team drills, the quarterback was able to make a fist with his right hand, including the injured thumb, so that was a sign of progress if nothing else. The media window closed at the end of the team stretch, so Brady didn’t throw any passes during that period. He was carrying a football as he walked over to the other side of the field for positional drills, where he usually warms up by throwing passes to members of the equipment staff. Brady injured his hand Wednesday during a practice collision with a running back, but X-rays showed no structural damage, according to sources. According to Herald staffer Jeff Howe, Brady will play Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. But we'll continue to follow up.
