The Facts: Freeman is cleared to go for Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Los Angeles Rams after being held back this week by a knee injury. Freeman practiced the past two days after sitting out Tuesday's practice. He was asked if there was ever a concern. "No, because I feel good," Freeman said. "In the NFL, you get banged up sometimes. You just have to try and figure out a way to get healthy; stay healthy. And I figured it out."
Diehards Line:
Freeman led the Falcons with 865 rushing yards on 196 carries this season and tied backup Tevin Coleman for the team lead with eight total touchdowns. Both backs could be called upon more in passing game Saturday against an attacking Rams' defense, led by Aaron Donald. HC Dan Quinn said Freeman showed no limitations while running and cutting during Thursday's practice. Every player on the injury report is set to play for the Falcons, including wide receiver Julio Jones (ankle/ribs), kick returner Andre Roberts (knee/ankle), wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (hamstring), center Alex Mack (calf), defensive end Adrian Clayborn (calf) and tight end end Levine Toilolo (knee).
