The Facts: The last unsigned first-round pick of the 2017 draft class, Davis, has agreed to terms, per source.
Diehards Line:
As ESPN.com recently noted, the fifth player (and first receiver) selected in the 2017 draft, Davis brings the Titans a combination of size and explosiveness that they haven't had. He should have an immediate impact for Marcus Mariota and will affect the way defenses cover the rest of the Titans' weapons. Davis has the size to create mismatches, and his game speed is legitimate. He moves well and shows the ability to adjust to the ball in the air. Davis dominated the MAC conference, hauling in 19 touchdown grabs during his final season at Western Michigan. Playing in a Titans' offense with an effective ground game -- not to mention a unit with an ascending QB -- means Davis appears to have found the perfect landing spot.
