The Facts: Bridgewater reported to camp, deflecting questions from both fans and reporters about his health nearly 11 months after the major knee injury he suffered last Aug. 30. He officially opens training camp on the PUP list.

Diehards Line:Bridgewater did not have a brace on his left knee, though, and GM Rick Spielman seemed at least open to the possibility of letting the team's quarterback situation play out over the coming months, as Sam Bradford begins the year as the starter and Bridgewater continues his road to recovery. "Those calls will come in time," Spielman said. "I think we are very fortunate to have two quarterbacks like that on our roster. ..." The GM said Bridgewater recently received a "good report from his surgeon," but Spielman offered no further details on when Bridgewater might be able to return to the field and the team placed the quarterback on the active physically-unable-to-perform list on Wednesday.
