The Facts: For football fans in the spring, anything is possible. For Eagles fans in the spring, that means believing in the arrival of 2015 first-round pick Agholor. "As I've said all along, competition, man, sharpens you," HC Doug Pederson said, via ESPN.com. "And that's what I've seen from Nelson. He's done a great job already this spring."
Diehards Line:
In two seasons, Agholor has 59 catches for 648 yards and three touchdowns. One of the last remnants of the Chip Kelly era, Agholor fared better a season ago under Pederson -- though nowhere near the expectations of a top-tier starter. Still, as NFL.com suggests, while that has yet to materialize, the raw potential is still there. This system should be a little friendlier to receivers -- and way more forgiving. And if Agholor can make a jump this summer, more-expensive veteran free-agent acquisition Torrey Smith could find himself looking for work sooner than he expected.
