Late last week, Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie said that Oakland hoped to come to terms with Lynch before the NFL Draft begins on April 27. Schneider said it was also his understanding the Raiders intended to make something happen before Thursday. “Yeah, I would think Reggie would want to go into the draft knowing that they have another runner or not,” Schneider said. Both teams are currently in a holding pattern as they await news of whether Lynch will agree to a deal.
