The Facts: All has been quiet on the Lynch front as of late and as it turns out, there's a big reason why. The former Seattle Seahawks running back and Oakland Raiders have yet to agree to terms because the two parties are too far apart, according to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

The Raiders have been in talks to pay Lynch around $3 million per year with potential incentives, but Lynch isn’t sold on making a comeback for less than half of the $9 million he was expected to make in 2017 with his Seahawks contract. Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie said Friday at a pre-draft press conference that the team hoped to seal the deal with the retired Seahawk before the NFL Draft begins on Thursday, but he didn’t call April 27 a deadline. “Prior to the draft is that point you’d like to know,” McKenzie said. “But our door is open and we’re not shutting [it].” Tafur said McKenzie is still awaiting a decision from Lynch. ...
