The Facts: The Rams agreed to terms with Zuerlein on a three-year deal.
Diehards Line:The Rams gave Zuerlein a make-good contract for 2016 and he responded by booting 19 of 22 field-goal attempts. That was apparently enough to keep him in the mix going forward. It was a noticeable rebounded from an awful 2015 season in which he made just 20-of-30 field goals. As Profootballtalk.com reminded readers, Zuerlein made a name for himself as a rookie by hitting seven field goals from 50 yards or longer, but has been inconsistent since then.
